In today's day and age, we doubt there are many adults who still believe movie-fueled illusions; unlike when you're a kid, and love at first sight with a happy ending seems totally plausible. Hollywood has been feeding us hocus pocus for decades, and we've eaten it up, willingly. But now Reddit has gathered to talk about how ridiculous movies can actually be.

High-speed car chases, the magical realm of hacking, ending a phone call with a stern stare and zero words… sigh. Either the directors live in a reality of their own, or they believe that their audience is stupid. Roads in real life are not our personal racetrack, there is actually such a thing as the law of physics, and even with tedious coding, you can't hack into your mother's Facebook account.
